About NATTOUR

Mission and Objectives

Nattour was founded with the aim of promoting and developing sustainable and viable forms of tourism. We focus on promoting soft forms of transportation, such as walking and cycling, with the aim of:

  • Reducing noise and air pollution in tourist destinations.
  • Minimizing the carbon footprint of tourism activities.
  • Protecting the environment and cultivating respect for it and the culture of each place.

Forms of Sustainable Tourism

Nattour supports a wide range of sustainable and viable forms of tourism, including:

  • Ecotourism
  • Nature tourism
  • Hiking tourism
  • Sports tourism
  • Cycling tourism
  • Tourism for people with special needs (e.g. elderly, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+)

The common denominator of all these forms of tourism is the focus on micro-mobility, digital tools, inclusivity, equal opportunities, the promotion of the natural environment and local gastronomy and culture.

Bike Friendly Label

In response to the growing international demand for soft tourism experiences, Nattour has created and manages the Bike Friendly label.

The Bike Friendly label is awarded to municipalities, hotels and points of interest (wineries, museums, etc.) that offer cyclist-friendly services. The label aims to promote cycling tourism in Greece, contributing to the development of the green economy and the protection of the environment, reducing the burden of mass tourism.

  • Nattour collaborates with various organizations, such as local government bodies, tourist agencies, hotels and environmental organizations.
